topic of my choice

I am not sure what to write about for a topic of my own choice. I could go with memories of 2010, but I can't really remember much on the spot. Not sure if it would be that interesting anyway, Although this isn't really working out. Theres really not much going on that I could write about.I am getting exited for christmas though. Holidays are coming up soon. Im exited. Theres lots of snow aswell which I actually like on christmas, but the bad thing about winter is the coldness and the ice which is a falling hazard. :)

"Grinch Or Who?" post

I like christmas, so I suppose I would be a who. I like when everything is all decorated for christmas & I like to decorate christmas trees aswell. I actually like snow on christmas I think snow looks alot better in december. I don't really like surprises, but i do really like getting lots of gifts. I always get exited on christmas day. Christmas is probably my favorite holiday.

Blog I found that I like.

I was nexting through  blogs when I noticed this one: http://www.logout.com/?expref=next-blog, called logout. thought it was neat because of the nice pictures of different countries on it. Theres not alot of writing, but I liked the pictures. If that person took those ppictures themselfs there really good at photography. Its kind of a small blog, but for being small it was nice to look at. I like the picture of the mosaic thing.

other blog feedback

I read the second blog "passing the buck" Im personaly not very interested in politics, but I like how the blog has a wide varety of different things posted on it with lots of pictures, it looks like a newspaper, or reminds me of one anyway.However everything on the blog seems like it would be common news, so if you didn't read this blog it wouldn't matter because you would hear it on the radio or on t.v., or the news paper so you would be likely to hear it weather you read the blog or wether you wanted to hear the information or not, so I probably wouldn't go out of my way to read it, but overall they did a good job of doing what they can to make it look appealing.

celebrity crush post

Another lame post by me. I am not pratictularly in a good mood today & do not feel like writing. Im sure theres many celebrity crushes ive had previouly & also to this day as well. Having celebrity crushes can be kind of a let down at times because in reality the chances of meeting these people are slim to none. However its still always nice to admire them. Having to choose one in pratictular to write about on the spot is actually more difficult than it should be for me it is anyway. I dont often choose favorites theres no point. Again not in a good writing mood today so im more embarassed by my blog than I usually would be.Oh well I guess.

A Place I Would Go...

If I could go anywhere for the weekend I would probably go to paris because I think it would be a nice place to go, it has nice scenerey & iI would like to go shopping if I whent there. I also like the eiffel tower & they would probably have nice hotels to stay in & it would be a nice change to go there & you wouldnt have to worry about boring usual routines of the home life. They would probably also have good food.

i have alot of pet peeves, but im going to choose hiccups because they are physically annoying. they give me stomach aches & i always have them in public & its embarasing because i never see anyone else having hiccups in public. It puts me in a bad mood & it looks stupid.

(this ones supposed to be older but i was a bit behind) Things That I am genuinly thankful for.

I decided to do the thankful list. These are in no pratictular order. Anyways, I am going to start with being thankful for shelter, & safe presentable house, I am thankful for my family & the people that care about me, I am thankful for all my necessities, & essential items, like haveing easy access to food & things like that. I am very thankful for anything that was given to me unnesecerily out of just being nice. & i am also thankful for anything that was given to me as a gift. I am thankful for everthing that has been bought for me & pretty much everything that i own. & i am thankful for all my possetions. & am thankful for furnature , & that I have my own room, I am thankful for my health & for the health of everyone i know. & I am thankful for any good experiences in life that I have ever had. There is probably alot more things that I could be thankful for but I cant recall them right now so i will just leave it at this for now.

reliving childhood post.

If i where to go back to my childhood & choose an age that i would like to be for a day I would choose to be three years old. I would choose to be this age because It is very young but still old enough to be able to walk around & do things & also because it was before I started school, so I would be free to do whatever I wanted to. If I where to re-live being three years old I would start the day off by sleeping in, then when I wake up i would eat breakfast. Not praticulary sure what kind of foods most three year olds would eat these days so I am going to just say I would eat oatmeal probably because theres a very low risk of a choking hazard. After breakfast I would watch t.v. I remember I used to like watching t.v. when I was really young. I would obviously watch childrens shows like cartoons or something I remeber I used to watch sesame street, so I suppse I would watch that. after that, I would probably go outside & play in the sandbox. & then I would eat lunch. I would probably eat some type of fruit or vegetable. & I would eat a doughnut for dessert. after lunch I would probably continue with the sandbox & more t.v. or maybe my mom would take me to the park for the rest of the day so i could go on the swings & the slide & stuff. & now its supper time & I would eat a potato and then probably soon after supper I would go to bed.

Cell phone article

in my opinion on the "Debate rages over cellphones in Ontario classrooms" I think that cell phones should be allowed durring school, I think that cell phones are something that is unpreventable seeing as new technologly will only continue to grow & become incorperated in to normal day to day life. Cell phones are likely not to be discontinued so the school board may as learn to cope with them because most students will continue to bring them to school & use them regardless. I kind of think this artical was a bit bias because it seemed like there where more negitive quotes then there where ones that where for it.

My name is Lauren. I decided to take writers craft because I dropped out of co op & this was the most appealing class on at this time. I hope to learn in this class how to improve my writing. Im not really sure who my favorite writers are. I dont usually read often. I havent decided entirely what I would be interesting in doing after high school, but I hope to figure that out soon. Im not exactly sure what motivates me to get out of bed in the morning & face the day. I guess to graduate school is my motive.
